YOUTH RHINO SUMMER CAMP 2026
July 20-24, 2025 (Mon-Fri) 9:00am-3:00pm ($225)

Team Rhino is excited to offer youth summer camp for boys and girls ages 7-12. The full day camp is geared toward kids interested in learning about wrestling or getting more time on the mat. This camp is appropriate for both campers with no prior wrestling experience as well as those with some experience in wrestling and other martial arts.
Team Rhino Wrestling camp will be an active day camp with wrestling lessons as well as other indoor and outdoor games, sports, and activities.
Coach Ben Stehura, Owner of Rhino Wrestling, CV High School wrestling coach and former collegiate wrestling coach from Cleveland State University and Limestone University will be running the wrestling sessions as well as agility and foot work sessions. We are excited to announce 3 special guest instructors for 2026 who will help us to make this a one of a kind mixed martial art summer camp in Comox Valley. Back by popular demand, Bill Fraser, owner of the Academy of Martial Arts, will be back this summer to offer a session in Jiu jitsu. Alex Nowak, instructor at the Academy of Martial Arts will be doing a session in Kick Boxing. And Black belt, Dan McKee will be offering a session in Karate. In addition to wrestling and other martial arts instruction, the camp will also have some built in fun activities and games to keep the campers interested in engaged,
What to bring: Packed Lunch, Water Bottle, wear comfortable clothes and runners. Some of the games will be outdoors, weather permitting, so please send your camper with sunscreen.
The camp will be held at the Team Rhino facility at 1776 McDonald Rd, Courtenay.
Please note Free Trial is not available for summer camp.

Summer HS Rhino is now open.
Practices in June will be the same schedule as Spring session had been:
Sunday 5:00-7:00pm
Monday and Wednesday 6:00-8:00pm
at the Team Rhino facility (1776 McDonald Rd, Courtenay).
Post-Season wrestling is open to any interested boys and girls in Gr8 - 12. Some Gr7 (entering Gr8 in the fall) may be appropriate for this group.
We welcome all interested students. No prior experience is required.
