Team Rhino runs 6-8 week sessions. We offer both single day and multiple day options for pricing. Price may change from session to session depending on the number of weeks.
No practices are held on statutory holidays.

YOUTH RHINO SUMMER CAMP 2026
July 20-24, 2025 (Mon-Fri) 9:00am-3:00pm ($225)

Team Rhino is excited to offer youth summer camp for boys and girls ages 7-12. The full day camp is geared toward kids interested in learning about wrestling or getting more time on the mat. This camp is appropriate for both campers with no prior wrestling experience as well as those with some experience in wrestling and other martial arts.
Team Rhino Wrestling camp will be an active day camp with wrestling lessons as well as other indoor and outdoor games, sports, and activities.
Coach Ben Stehura, Owner of Rhino Wrestling, CV High School wrestling coach and former collegiate wrestling coach from Cleveland State University and Limestone University will be running the wrestling sessions as well as agility and foot work sessions.
In addition to wrestling instruction, the camp will also have some built in fun activities and games to keep the campers interested in engaged,
What to bring: Packed Lunch, Water Bottle, wear comfortable clothes and runners. Some of the games will be outdoors, weather permitting, so please send your camper with sunscreen.
The camp will be held at the Team Rhino facility at 1776 McDonald Rd, Courtenay.
Please note Free Trial is not available for summer camp.

HIGH SCHOOL RHINO
SD71 HS Rhino season is starting October 15, 2025
Practices will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon from 3:45-5:30pm
in the Vanier Multipurpose room (M-W) and the Vanier Gym (F).
HS Season is open all interested grade 8-12 students at any SD71 District School.
For students at schools outside SD71, still residing in the area, participation can still be arranged in most cases (contact us for more info).
We welcome all interested students. No prior experience is required.

YOUTH RHINO WRESTLING
8-13 years old
Youth wrestling for children age 8 to 13 (3rd grade-7th grade)

HIGH SCHOOL POST SEASON RHINOS
12+ years old
High School Rhinos is for Secondary school students (12+ years old) who want to participate in post season training
There is a single day option and an unlimited day option (2+ days a week)
During the BC School Sports HS Wrestling season (Nov-Feb) HS Rhino is run through the school with most practices held at GP Vanier Seconday school and occasional practices held at the Rhino facility. These practices are open to all SD 71 secondary school students (grade 8-12). Students who are outside of SD71 can also participate in most circumstances (contact us to find out how)
After the High School season ends, Post Season High School Rhino practices will begin and registration will be available here
